Dachshund Carrier Tote
A 56cm extra-long carrier designed around the body shape of Dachshunds and other long-bodied dogs.
Standard soft carriers can feel cramped or sag beneath dogs with long bodies and short legs. This Dachshund carrier tote uses an elongated 56cm design, internal cushioning and a reinforced base to create a flatter, more stable resting area during travel.
Designed with breeds such as Dachshunds, Corgis and Basset Hounds in mind, the carrier also features a lowered entry and three carrying options for everyday trips, cafés, errands and short-distance travel.

The elongated shape provides more length for long-bodied dogs to settle without being forced into a compact, upright position.
A rigid bottom insert helps reduce the sagging or hammock-like shape commonly found in very soft pet carriers.

Important for Dogs with IVDD or Back Conditions
This carrier is designed to provide a flatter, more supportive carrying surface for long-bodied dogs, but it is not a medical or orthopaedic device and is not intended to prevent or treat intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). If your dog has diagnosed IVDD, a spinal injury, recent surgery or mobility restrictions, follow your veterinarian’s recommendations for lifting, carrying and transport.
Carrying & Safety
Check that your dog fits comfortably inside the carrier and can settle without being tightly compressed. Support the carrier evenly when lifting and avoid sudden tilting or swinging movements.
Inspect the straps, seams, base insert and hardware regularly before use. Do not use the carrier if any structural components become damaged or insecure. Never leave your dog unattended inside the carrier for extended periods.
