Dachshund Sausage Carrier Backpack — Extra Length (56cm) | HiDREAM

HiDREAM Dachshund Carrier Backpack

A 56cm extra-long carrier designed for Dachshunds and other long-bodied small dogs.

Designed specifically around the proportions of Dachshunds and other long-bodied small dogs, this HiDREAM Dachshund carrier backpack features an extended 56cm body. It gives your dog more space to settle lengthways instead of being compressed into a short, upright carrier.

A shaped internal cushion, reinforced base and dual-shoulder carrying system work together to create a more structured travel setup for everyday outings, cafés, errands and short-distance adventures.

Key Features

More Length, Not Unnecessary Height

Dachshunds have very different body proportions from many small dogs. Instead of making the carrier taller, this design extends the usable horizontal space so your dog can rest in a more natural lengthwise position.

Shaped Cushion for More Even Support

The internal cushion uses different thicknesses along the length of the bag. The raised section provides additional cushioning around one end, while the flatter central area gives the torso room to settle without creating an excessively sloped resting position.

Dual-Shoulder Carry

Because the carrier is longer than a conventional pet tote, the backpack-style shoulder straps provide another way to carry it close to the body. Adjustable padded straps help improve comfort during everyday use.

Ventilation & Easy Access

A fully opening top mesh panel provides a wide entry point and encourages airflow through the upper section. A drawstring mesh opening at the end of the carrier provides additional ventilation and can be adjusted depending on use.

The low side opening gives your dog another convenient access point when the carrier is safely placed on the ground.

Storage for Everyday Essentials

A large front zip pocket provides convenient storage for smaller travel essentials such as your phone, waste bags, wipes, treats and other accessories.

Important for Dogs with Back Conditions

This carrier is designed around the proportions of long-bodied dogs and provides an extended, structured resting surface. It is not a medical or orthopaedic device and is not intended to prevent or treat IVDD or other spinal conditions. If your dog has a diagnosed back condition, mobility restriction or recent surgery, follow your veterinarian’s advice regarding lifting and transport.

Do not machine wash or bleach. For everyday marks, gently clean the affected area using a soft brush or towel.

If deeper cleaning is required, hand wash gently and allow the carrier to dry completely in a well-ventilated area before use or storage.

Carrying & Safety

Attach the internal safety tether to a properly fitted harness rather than directly to your dog’s collar. Keep all openings appropriately secured whenever the carrier is being lifted or worn.

Check the base board, internal cushion, mesh, buckles, shoulder straps, handles and safety tether before each trip. Always support the carrier carefully when lifting and avoid sudden tilting or swinging movements.
